Lachlan Cogan
Lachlan completed his Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters in Osteopathy at the University of Western Sydney. He then worked in various clinics in Sydney (including Vital Lifestyle) before spending a year working in the longest established clinic in Perth. The Osteopaths at the clinic in Perth all practise a style of Osteopathy, which has been passed down generation to generation in their family. Lachlan amalgamated what he learnt at university with what he learnt at the clinic in Perth, and has returned to Vital Lifestyle with a passion for treating acute pain of the spine.
Lachlan always wanted to work in a health profession using his hands, but it wasn’t until a family friend suggested Osteopathy that Lachlan found what he was looking for. The holistic approach of Osteopathy, in Lachlan’s opinion, seemed to be the best way to treat musculoskeletal problems.

Lachlan treats each person on an individual basis, taking into account their presenting symptoms and lifestyle factors. Using a range of structural techniques, Lachlan aims to achieve a change in the musculoskeletal structures to kick-start the bodies own self-healing processes.
